Process Psychotherapy: This group will be a closed, process group where the therapist would facilitate the building of group culture and cohesion so that participants could safely, and with peer and professional support, address any of their issues (whether inside the group/treatment program or outside in their everyday lives, present or past). The facilitator will have access to each participant’s psychosocial assessment (or complete psychosocials for those who are not in placement at Mollies House or are not receiving individual treatment through the program) and will be informed of each participant’s individual goals. The therapist will attend to the dynamics of a group in which member may occasionally join and leave throughout the course of the year.

Mind Body Connection: is designed to raise participants’ awareness of their physical/emotional status/needs in the present moment, reestablishing the connection that has been broken by abuse and exploitation. It is also designed to be a calming and grounding experience after the process group. Each group will have a “serenity/recovery” component, and will cycle through other topics and activities such as mindfulness meditation, breathing/relaxation, self-expressive art activities, music therapy, basic yoga/stretching, walking/running, etc.
